Range Hood Motor 2015 Crossroads Sunset Trail 32RL
The motor on our range hood is not working. When we took the hood down, we noticed an in-line fuse before the motor. None of the installation information for the replacement motor show a fuse. Neither does the installation documentation that came with the trailer. Has anyone seen this fuse during a fan motor replacement for a range hood? If so, did you simply remove the fuse and direct wire to the motor?
My fan motor in the range hood just quit as well. Took it apart far enough to test, but left it in as it will be several weeks before I get back down to the lake and my 33BD.
So, I pulled the fan motor and it has some kind of resistor in line. My guess is it's some type of external heat protection. The new motor works without it, and I can't find any documentation about it from Ventline, I'm guessing it's not necessary. Also, I guess that just taking the assembly apart helped quiet it down just a bit!

I have been wondering if they have come out with a fan motor that's any quieter then the older ones like mine. It has to be the most obnoxious sounding thing out there.

That was part of the reasoning behind the speaker upgrade!
