Hi everyone. I purchased a 32' sunset trail rl in the spring, I have had it back to dealer twice now because the slides leak. The slides also leak when the rooms are in. I now have bad squeaks in my floor . has anyone else had these problems? Crossroads had told the dealer to make some sort of dam with silicone on the track that did not work. Seems a little mickey mouse to me. Thanks everyone

The seals themselves should be enough to do the job if installed properly. Silicone wouldn't make a big difference. Do you know exactly where the leak is?

Yeah unfortunately the seals aren't keeping the water out. It's coming in right on the rale of the slides

How can it come in on the rail of the slide when it is closed?

It comes in on rail when sides are out and from top of slide closed. It is a 2013 with the poor design slides

I would simply demand all seals be replaced.

That's what I want them to do. We will see. I'm talking to crossroads tomorrow. The dealer has been waiting for authorization for over a week now

My 32RL street side slide leaks when it is closed. Have not had it leak when open. Water gathers at both ends and on the roof of the slide. I am scheduled to have it worked on this winter. We leave the slide open when parked at home so it does not leak.

I wasn't able to talk to the gentleman that I wanted to today so I am going to try tomorrow. Wondering what your dealer said they were going to do about your slide that leaks Bessie

Mine also leaked and took it a local dealer who did a water test and found that on the large slide in the upper left hand corner caulk was not properly installed. They fixed it and never had another leak since.

Hi

I know this is quite awhile since your posting. We had the same problem and it was mentioned that the rubber seal around the slide out was in wrong. It was also suggested that we get the dealer to do a water test. This was the solution. Hopefully you already have the problem solved but if not get them to check out the seal.

Hi there. Thank you for the input. As of right now the slides don't leak when they are out but leak when they are in . We are bringing it to the dealer after our last trip in October. I will mention to them the info you shared about the sseals . thanks again, Tim
