Slide topper

We have a 2015 Sunset Trail ST28bh and are talking to our dealer about installing a topper for us. The problem is we have to store our unit at another location and the dealer is asking for slide room measurements. The topper will be for the dining/couch slide. Not sure when we will be able to get to ours and was hoping someone here with the same unit might have these measurements close at hand. Thanks.

I can't help... but it just amazes me that the dealers don't already have that type of info or don't have a bat phone to the manufacturers to get the info.

I know. Was just hoping someone might have purchased recently and had the measurements already. Our dealer would have measured for me but they did not have my model on the lot. Thanks for the reply datasponge. We will just go down to ours sometime in the next few days.

While I won't be doing toppers given the issues the camping buddies have with theirs flapping, etc...

and while the outside edge to outside edge of the slide will probably be enough for him,

be sure and measure everything and include a picture
outside edge to outside edge,
inside frame width ,
height from top of slide to lowest point of side at roofline
(because you want it has slanted as possible)

and depth when opened...

just to make it one trip good luck !

Thanks johnboytoo. We are taking it in for routine maintenance and some small issues ( DH calls them my gripes) so I may just let them measure it on site. We camp in COE campgrounds with lots of pine and oak trees so we are trying to keep as much of the pine needles and leaves off of the slide and out of the TT as possible.

You probably could find out what size awning to buy by calling CrossRoads Customer Service. They should have this information on file.
