We have a 10 month old 2013 sunset trail that has an issue with the slide out room. Three of the four corners work as expected the bottom aft does not fully retract. The back corner of the slide out has dug into and torn the floor covering exposing the underpayment. The dealer (Camping World of Roanoke) has had the unit for three weeks and have adjusted it per Schwintek's instructions and after a couple of cycles it is out of sync again. We have a travel trailer that we can not use and am concerned about our options. Has anyone else out had this problem and come up with a solution?

Thanks

This is perplexing. The motors are located at the top of each side. The top and bottom of each side are then linked together with a shaft. the only way the top of one side could be off from the bottom of the same side is if the shaft sheered or the gear track was damaged and stripped causing the drive gear to jump the track. or possibly the drive gear itself was damaged. I would inspect and replace the track and drive gear on that side and ensure the wall is plumb and not pulling away from the drive gear.

I found the same in my research, but the dealer has disassembled the system and re installed it and no change gate a couple of cycles.

Roller!!
The Schwintek's slide by CR moves on rollers. Very few; less one thenwould beminimailly needed. Fixed Rollers arefastenedto outside edge of trailer wall opening & Rollers on slideroom are set-back from inside edge. I've had to re-aline inside edge Roller(s): someone at Factory left us a Black "Paint Stick" under slideroom. Besides major mess & dents in floor covering, pulled/tore a Roller(s) loose & out of alinement (Parrallel / Perpendicular.) A real Bitch, a quarter turn at a time & no room for two hands(fingers.).
Black Fabric covering ChipBoard SlideRoom bottom when torn orwrinkledblocks / stops slide moving correctlly on Rollers.

It's fixed, crossroads pulled a drive assembly off the assembly line and shipped it to camping world and they replaced it. We have taken it out several times since and have had no issues. Thank you for the feedback and thanks to crossroads and camping world for taking care of this.
