Socket size for drain plug on water heater

Can someone tell me what size socket for water heater drain plug 2021 212rb.

1” comes to mind but I’m not 100% sure.

Over the years I have seen, and used two different size sockets for the drain plugs.
Previously it was 7/8 in. now it's 15/16 in.
If you don't own a socket wrench set, I would highly recommend that you invest in a set.
You will be needing it in the future. That way you will have the complete set there and be able to see which one fits your drain plug.

Replace the plug with one of these for $10. Then you simple open the valve with your fingers.

I would never be able to use any of them for the drain plug on mine.

The Dometic HWH on my 2019 ST 239BH has a 15/16 nut. From what I have heard, it really depends on the manufacturer of your HWH.
