I went looking and couldn't find a jack or tire iron anywhere on my new 220RB - and the manual doesn't indicate that there are any at all. Am I missing something? Did you buy a jack or just rely on roadside assist?

I don't know of a jack coming with any new RV. You will either have to buy one or call roadside assistance.
Another option would be to purchase a trailer aid.

You still might need a bottle jack to finish getting it up high enough.

I always pack a light weight floor jack. The handles usually are a two pc unit and most are made out of a lot of aluminum to keep weight down. Harbor Freight or similar stores carry some decent ones. I would rather pack this in the RV than have to dig out the truck jack and stuff from who knows where when we have tire issues. Well worth the investment in my opinion.

4 ton bottle jack .small and works. /truck jack probably won't lift the weight without breaking ....trust me on that one..

Make sure the lug wrench you buy fits the lugnuts on the wheel and the nut & bolt holding the spare to the carrier. My last two trailers used a different sized fastener on the carrier.

6 ton bottle jack, torque wrench, socket and breaker bar. Good Sam Roadside Assistance - will let someone else take care of the trailer tires when I am on the road.

wheel jack
as stated you can buy a wheel ramp for 60+ dollars or just make it. Simple get two foot section of 4x6 or 6x6 measure distance between wheels at ground and cut to length. Next cut angles on each end leaving 6 inches at top. Now you have a tire ramp to drive up on to change opposing tire but also have a double wheel chock.

I carry a bottle jack, trailer aid, 4 way lug wrench and a cordless Craftsman Impact that I put in the camper before we leave.

I've owned three travel trailers and not one of them came with a jack or tire iron. As everyone else mentioned, a good bottle jack or a small rolling floor jack work best.

I went the lazy route and bought a ramp from amazon for 30 bucks shipped. That was below my price point to make one. I agree, at 60, I'd get out the mitre saw.

I have changed tires both ways as noted above. I also use a jack to repack the wheel bearings (one wheel at a time) Make sure you put the jack under the bolt plate and not the tube axle as it will bend and cause you problems in the end.

X2, this can't be stressed enough...do not jack directly on the axle tube.

I carry a CAA card that covers my trailer. I'm not going to get hurt or killed swapping a wheel out.
