Wink ST33PB towing question part 2

Hi All!

Someone closed my thread, but I wanted to thank everyone for their comments, ideas and help. Unfortunately, I was unable to respond to most of the posts because my computer was out for repair for a few weeks. I was able to find a yearly seasonal site for right now and I found a company that will tow and set up the camper for me so that I won't have to white knuckle it in my Armada up and down the Pocono Mountains. My plan is for next year to be able to upgrade my husbands truck so that we can resume traveling with the TT. Again, thank you all for your advice.

Jill

Wow, that is a creative and sensible solution! You get the camper you want, and can camp all you want, albeit in one space. When the time and money is right, you can make the second part of the solution. Bravo!

Thank you. We felt this was the best solution at this time. We love otter lake campground in the Poconos and usually end up going there 2 to 3 times a year anyway, so it all worked out well that someone gave up their spot this year. Now, not only do I have the camper I want I also have a"lake house " for a year at the fraction of the price of a real lake house . We will still make it up to Maine this year as planned, but instead of bringing our TT to point sebago we are renting a cabin instead.

Glad you found a safe solution that works for you. Knowing your in the Poconos, I would recommend a 3/4 or 1 ton diesel for your replacement truck when you can. A gasser 3/4 ton could probably get it done but a diesel will make it more fun.

Have never camped at Otter Lake but have camped at 4 Seasons. We do have 3 campgrounds in our TTrails memership near there, Timothy Lake north and south and Scottrun.
