Sunset bunkhouse 28 foot. Water pump getting air and having electrical issues

Our trailer water pump seems to run all the time and seems to be pulling air from somewhere.

Also we are having power issues with the front end of the trailer. The front master panel seems to have some short in it and is only drawing off the battery not main supply power when plugged in. Fridge, microwave, and power outlets in island work when plugged in but stereo, lights in the trailer and anything on the fireplace/tv/ main panel is running in battery. Any suggestions.

Are you plugged into a 30amp power supply. Have you turned all the breakers off then on.your lights and stereo should be 12v. The TV would be 120volt

Check your breakers if they are good the TV should work.what do you mean by front master panel. The power should come in to the trailer to the main breaker and fuse box which also houses the invertor. Most of your lights and stereo run off 12v. The invertor charges the battery for these items. Your 30amp plug in supply power to fridge. Micro and invertor

Correction - the CONVERTER changes 120VAC to 12VDC to keep the battery charged. An INVERTER steps 12VDC up to 120 VAC, but are expensive and take a big set of batteries.

As to the pump sucking air, the only input is the line from the fresh water tank, and maybe a winterizing siphon, both located right at the inlet of the pump. Try tightening those fittings (gently, they're plastic!) first.

Hi Okkoral,
I had same problem. pretty easy to drop a section of the belly and access the suction plumbing. Mine had a connection 2 feet from the tank that had a loose hose clamp causing the same issue. Replaced the clamp and good to go..
Little info in case you are still battling it.
Cheers
