Sunset Trail 253RB Outdoor Refrigerator Replacement

I just replaced the Hotpoint 2.7 Cu Ft outdoor kitchen refrigerator with a 3.3 Cu Ft HiSense refrigerator. I wasn't using the extremely small freezer compartment in the Hotpoint, and I didn't like the interior configuration for the bottles and cans I carry. I purchased the HiSense at Lowes for $187. I had to modify the way it mounts but it was fairly easy to do.

I thought of doing the same. What did you have to modify? Pictures?

I didn't have to modify anything. I used the same mounting brackets as on the original Hotpoint refrigerator. I can't send you pics because I have sold my 253RB. It's an easy remove and replace operation. I looked at other refrigerators and found the 3.3 cu ft HiSense was the only one I found that fit. If you consider other refrigerators measure them to make sure they fit. I removed the HiSense from my 253RB when I sold it and installed the HiSense in my new Keystone Cougar. I took the 2.7 cu ft Hotpoint in my new Cougar and installed it in my 253RB so the person who purchased my 253RB got the same refrigerator that originally came with my 253RB, only a newer Hotpoint.
