Sunset Trail 2nd AC

Hi all, I have a 2018 sunset trail 264BH 30 amp with the 15k central AC. Does anyone know if the bedroom roof can support a dometic brisk air II, around 70-80lbs. I know it’s not wired for a 2nd AC I’ve already got that figured out but I want to check and see if anyone knows if the standard 14x14 vent in the bedroom can support an AC. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks

I added a second A/C to mine at the vent with no problem. I wasn’t wired for it either, but I ran my own through the ceiling and into the closet. From there, I installed a 20amp connection outside. Works great!

What kind of breaker (or in-line fuse?) did you use or plan on using? Did you mount an external plug port? I’m very interested in this! I’d assume 10 gauge wire and extension cord? Thanks!

We added a second air and it works great they were able to run the wire in the roof space and put a plug on the outside to plug it in with a heavy duty extension cord.

Second AC

I installed a MINI Split unit, those operate without noise and do not take a lot of electricity.
Silent AC finally.
Greetings, Harold
