Sunset Trail Antenna

I was wondering if anyone has replaced the omni-directional stock antenna? I am looking at a non satellite tv replacement.

Thanks

No, but the current issue of Trailer Life (that just came this week) has an in-depth story on installing the Winegard Rayzar Omni antenna on pg 126. If you don't subscribe, you might find it on line at GoodSam.com

I bought a Winegard Rayzar antenna in the winter. I wanted replace the omni-directional antenna, but having a 5er I couldn't put one of the manual directional antennas on the roof because the ceiling is too high. When Winegard introduced the remote control Rayzar I could see it gave me what I was looking for, an antenna that could be aimed without having to use a step ladder to aim it. I haven't installed it yet, but hope to get that done before I go to VIR in August. I want to install a Sirius/XM satellite radio antenna on the roof at the same time and fish the antenna lead down the same hole as the TV coax.

DavisK, like you, I am a big fan of Sirius XM. Here's an accessory that might help you. It ties the satellite antenna to the same coax as your cable/satellite TV/ or OTA. Once inside, you have a splitter to break your XM signal off. I want to do this at home. SiriusXM Signal Distribution Kit for Use With Satellite & Cable TV Wiring - Shop - SiriusXM Radio

At almost $400 it better work. Seen it on sale for $350 at CW. I copied it because it would not work. Still doesn't.
