Question Sunset Trail ST250RB Outdoor Kitchen Countertop

We have a 2015 Sunset Trail ST250RB purchased about two months ago. On the last outing, we noticed the black plastic counter top in our outdoor kitchen seemed to be sagging under the weight of the outdoor refrigerator. The 2014 models didn't have the black plastic, so I am assuming this was a change for easier cleanup and longevity of the camper? I have sent photos to my dealer and it is very hard to see the slight dip in the counter top that i fear will get worse over time.

Anyone else have this issue?

You might want to add a reinforcement under the sag yourself. Will take a dealer and CR a while to figure that out . Plus there may be a 1x2 missing underneath or it is only screwed into the thin wallboard . grab a studfinder and check.

Thught they had quit making the sunset trail reserve rb 25rb. We certainly love ours use it all the time and you will love all the storage in it. Our outdoor kitchen did not sag but we did have trouble with the storage door seals leaking, watch them closely.

They make the 25 and smaller in the Super Lite only. 26 is the smallest Reserve model now. I have had no problem with my outside kitchen sagging and so far my storage areas have stayed dry. It has gone thru some serious thunderstorms and so far stayed dry t/o.

It's no the reserve. I'll look for a brace. It's difficult to take the pictures our dealer needs for warranty because of the black plastic's matt finish. The dealer is 1.5 hours away with the camper so it's not like i can just run it up there.

Even if there is a 1x2 on the back wall under the counter ....put a few vertically under the horizontal one that touch the floor . may solve problem.

Look at service locations we bought our camper in Green Cover Springs, Fl about 3 hours from our house, we found a dealer within 20 minutes and asked him to do our warranty work and they have been wonderful to work with and such a pleasure dealing with someone so close. They do not sell Crossroads but are a warranty dealer. Thor is the parent company so most companies selling Thor will do warranty work. Worth a try. I called Crossroads and told them I had a dealer close by that would do the work, gave them the information then called the dealer with the name and number of the guy from Crossroads and it has been great ever since.
