The front cap on my 2017 Sunset Trail is not molded?
My wife an I just bought a 2017 (acording to all the paperwork) 237BH Sunset Trail. I've noticed that the front cap (fiberglass) has like a buckle in it just under and to the side (where the front meets the side) the clearance light.
I've looked at the manufactures web site and cannot find my model of camper? I asked sales manager at Ron Hoover and she says its an inbetween year model? WT? I'll take pics and post them tommorow. If this is delamination from water intrusion I'm most likely going to have to replace the front cap. If so I would much rather replace it with the molded cap, couldnt cost much more $.
This is the only picture I have of the front just a week after I bought it. Too dark to tell anything.
From the flattish shape and lack of creases, I suspect it is not one of the "molded" ones you are referring to. It looks different than the ST cap I had.

The two different 2017 models we looked at did not look like that. The current version has a black center. The beginning half 2017s have an all tan molded style front cap. Never seen one like that which is just a sheet of fiberglass.
I would suspect it's delamination from water entering around the clearance light. If it's new or you have an extended warranty, have it checked immediately. If not warrantied remove the clearance lights & add sealant under & around them to stop further damage & try to access that area with a fan or someway to dry it out so mold doesn't set in.
Hopefully they just didn't get the skin tight at that point & it's just got a wrinkle in it.
GOOD LUCK!
