Hi All

We own a Sunset Trail 26BH.

I have been looking for a long time at replacing every lamp in the trailer with LED's. There seems to be quite a few suppliers of such products to choose from.

Has anyone done this?

Where did you buy from?

Were/are you happy with the results?

We killed a battery in one night with the furnace running and using interior lamps. I think LEDs would be better but let me say they are not cheap my pricing is almost $300.00.

If anyone has found a cheap supplier of these conversions I would appreciate the info.

The 2 front clothes closets in our trailer are very dark, even in the middle of the day it is hard to see what is in there. I have thought since we bought the trailer that these need lamps.

After careful measurements and re-checking I felt that I could run wires from the bed lamp in the middle to the 2 closets and install LED lamp strips down the sides of the closets.

I started this task tonight and almost have it completed, all I can say is WOW. After this task it has only reenforced in my mind that I want/need to change interior lamps.

I am also thinking about changing all exterior clearance, tail/brake/turn, and porch lamps to LED's also.

Anyone done this mod?

You will find everything you need on this site. As far as I'm concerned they're the best available.
Like you stated---they are not cheap!!!

Ditto what Walt said Command Electronicsor another source we have been using Jirah http://www.jclampstand.com/both companies produce and sell American made products. If you are adventurous you can find cheap Chinese LED lamps on E-bay

I used their K0026 for my rear trailer lights. Easy to install and the lights are bright. I had seen exterior lights in the past that were not bright enough for anyone to see the brake light come on. These are. I would not use the scotch connectors. I used a crimp connector instead.

I found the supplier that I have used for my interior lights. These have a color that both the wife and I like. Many LED lights are too blue.
