Trailer tongue cargo carrying system

Has anyone seen this before? It looks interesting, but i'm a little concern about how it will effect the trailer going down the road. it would be a great way to carry the generator by getting it out of the trailer or the back of the Excursion where we currently put it when we travel with it.

The weight of the unit is 65 lbs plus the weight of the generator. Mine is the one pictured in the example. Weights about 120 lbs. The unit can hold up to 300 so the documentation says.

Anybody ever seen or use this before?

Who makes it & is it expensive? Only drawback is that it will add some extra pounds to the tongue weight.

Cool thanx. I wonder if it could be used to carry bikes? Or if there are attachments for that purpose?

Road Dog, check out www.Arvika.ca, tongue mounted, above tank bike racks. I know a few that have them. Work well but expensive.

I think I would rather have it in the back of the truck up next to cab than on the tongue. Better to be on back of TT if at all possible? No?
