Question Underbelly access

Have a heated underbelly on Sunset Trail. Where might we find access panels to monitor temps and avoid tanks freezing?
How difficult is it to install tank heater pads?

This the tool to make an access panel. If you install the heat blankets, some will have a light that will install in your Rv when they're on. Here's a video on how to install tank heaters, but you can google other videos also.

You have to make your own access and they you could seal it with Gorilla tape, or they sell specific tape for the under the rv cover.

Amazon has them. Also there is quite a few questions and answers on the subject.

I don't know how many you are thinking of adding, but if just the fresh tank, you might want to think of dropping that portion of the cover rather then cutting an access hole.

If you do cut access holes or cut part of it out, splurge and get the proper RV tape from a dealer. Well worth it and works great. I bought some when I had to replace part of my underbelly from the front axle back. Still holding after 3 years. And the replacement underbelly is way better than factory.

I agree with Floyd on this. Or, consider dropping the entire Coroplast underbelly then get to what you need and reinstall it. It’s worth the extra time it will time to do it.

It's not that hard to just drop the underbelly where you need to. I added reinforcement bars when I reinstalled mine, as it was sagging quite a bit. They help a lot.
