water leaks

We have a sunset 32 bumper pull. 2 leaks....

One is below the fridge. There is a storage draw below the fridge and thats where the water shows up after heavy rains. I'm thinking its either the vent cover behind the fridge on the outside or the roof fridge vent on roof. The water line we see when we take the vent cover off , that drains in the evaporation tub is clear.

The other leak (soft floor area) is between the bed and small closet slide. The roof on the slide seems in pretty good shape (I'm a roofer by trade) but the water is getting in somewhere and rotting the floor.

Thanks for all replies.

Check all the trim piece above, on sides and bottom of all slides. My bottom trim was leaking water into my closet. Took off the trim piece and sure enough there was evidence of water seeping in. Cleaned caulk off trim and replaced with new caulk. No leaks anymore. Remember, do not use silicone caulk on Rv.

It doesn't take a large section of caulk missing for water to get in. Lucky, I caught it in time without damage.

Put a coconut charcoal bag in closet and under nightstand to remove the slight smell.

Mark, regarding not using silicone, that comment is for the roof trim right? Because my dealer specifically told me side trim and window trim is typically sealed with silicone. If that’s not true I need to know. Thanks

Do not use silicone anywhere where you may have to reseal in the future. Nothing sticks to it. I use the regular Dicor caulk on windows and trim.

Water leak

My leak was a crack in the skylight itself, not the seal around the light.
Caulked over the crack fixed this.

Greetings, Harold
