You should have Ez Lube axles and my understanding is that the Buddy bearings will not fit. Also they basically do the same thing. Pack the bearings by hand then replace the grease seal with a DOUBLE LIP SEAL. Then if you want to add a LITTLE GREASE thru the year jack up the tire and SLOWLY WHILE TURNING the wheel add a pump or two. But if hand packed properly it is not really needed.

Your rig has EZ lube bearings but I wouldn’t use them. Repack by hand. Many people posting here that using the ezlube blew out their rear double lip seals.

I have used the EZ Lube to add grease between packings for years and have never had grease go past a double lip seal. Your mileage may very.

That is good to hear. I’ve been worried about it wondering if I need to go and repack them again manually. I plan on inspecting them before our next trip.

Just to be clear --- in the spring i pull the brake drums to inspect the brakes at that time i also repack the bearings by hand. I use a high quality double lip grease seal then I use the EZ Lube to add a little grease during the summer.

On another note i have a utility trailer with no brakes and i just use the EZ Lube fittings because i can see the back side and after replacing the single lip seals with double lip ones i have never had a leak past the seal. I jack up the wheel and slowly add grease while turning the wheel. As i said this works for me others have had problems.
