Did you read some of the posts at the beginning of the thread?

What do you carry in the trunk?

Maybe relocate the lawn chairs to the rear bumper?

I built a rack out of angle iron and attached it to the rear bumper and attached a storage container with good latches that can be padlocked to the rack it holds my sewer hoses and electrical cords in it,and has worked well so far.

I keep my 50 amp cord coiled up front on the basement floor of my 5th wheel. As for using a 30 amp cord, I do that at home. I have a 30 amp outlet and run a 30 amp cord and and 30 amp extension cord to the outlet, then use a 50 to 30 amp adapter to connect the cords to the RV. I'm able to run one ac unit on this circuit to cool the unit while we pack up in the summer.

Would you have a picture of that? I'd love to see what you did there.

I only store it during transport - the rest of the time it is plugged in. I just put it in the truck bed (I have a tonneau cover to stop the light fingered Larry's out there), with my other 'need right away' stuff like wheel chocks etc. As others have noted, totes are great for speeding tear down and set up - everything needed for the task is right there.

Thanks all.

I think I was looking for magic solution that would make it disappear. To my dismay, it doesn't look like it exists.

I found a couple of totes at Home Depot that are probably going to be as good as it gets. I just wish this camper had more thoughtful storage solutions built in.

I can be pretty creative.. just need to ponder on it some more.
