Wiper Seal - 291RK
Hi everyone! Hope things are well with you!!
I have a 2017 Sunset Trail 291RK and the wiper seal on the slide out needs replaced. I tried calling Crossroads RV support, but they referred me to Tiara RV Parts. This is all good, but even after talking with Tiara we can't identify which wiper seal I am needing.
I have posted pictures of what I can see. If there is an issue with the inline pictures, I also included links.

1) There is a bulb seal, but it appears the wiper seal does not connect to that
2) The measurement of the wiper seal is 1 1/4" wide
3) The wiper seal appears to be use an adhesive to attach, but can't say for sure..
Any help identifying the wiper seal I need would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!!

Lloyd,
Thanks for the reply, but I have already looked at those threads.

I have the same issue, but I noticed when I was winterizing and is now in storage. So I have not been able to fix.

Here are a couple of more pictures. The wiper seal for this type of slide out is "crimped in" to the railing. It is a Norco R854056 and I will be purchasing at Tiara RV Parts, only for the reason that their parts team took the extra time to work with me, and I reward good service. You will notice this part does not require adhesive, or double sided tape, nor is it used with a bulb seal. My slide has four separate pieces, two inside and two outside. The seal located inside closest to the refrigerator will be the most difficult to replace due to how close the slide is to the refrigerator and pantry doors. Guess I need to lose weight if/when that seal fails.

Making phone calls sometimes is the last resort. Good job at finding the correct piece.

Did you get it changed? How difficult was it? I am ready to get camping again, unfortunately still a little snow left.

Just changed all of mine (8 total) Local RV dealer had a box of it in their attic ! Tried online but just got the run-around.The papers that came with camper said seals were made by Boyd Corp., not true ! Fairly easy once I figured out how to do it .

How do you get the old seal out and the new one in?

I’m getting ready to replace mine. How did you remove the old seal and get the new one in? One of the replies above says they are crimped in.
Thanks!

They are crimped top & bottom, just took a screw driver to open up slot. The inside wipers are screwed in on the bottom. Have to have slide out to get to them, pulled out easy once this was done. Inserted new wipers, used a putty knife to help get them in. Make sure you screw the outside bottoms back in. Then I used a hammer to crimp them shut. Hope this helps !!!
