Double awnings

First time posting so apologies if I am at wrong place. Question: has anyone tried putting 2separate awnings on an rv? Own a 2014 Crossroads Hampton on a permanent site. Want more shade on our deck but don't want one huge awning.

I have seen a few rigs with more than one awning, particularly big motorhomes. I don't see any reason why you couldn't add an awning.
Having said that, I personally don't care for all the maintenance involved with an awning, and the potential for damage and early failure. One is plenty for me.
They are a necessary evil, and if you can put up with the maintenance, go for it.
How about a stand-alone tent-type canopy?

Our trailer came from the factory with 2 awnings, so it can be done.

Thanks for the responses and the picture. It's good to see how close together the awnings are. Think we're going to do that!
