Not sure I understand. You ARE getting hot water from the water heater?

If not check the breakers NOT the FUSES..
Not sure what brand water heater you have but if it is a Suburban there is a switch on the outside that turns on the electric heating element. Dometic has the electric switch with the gas switch and should be located near the control panel.

I apologise last night it was late...lol
We are NOT getting hot water from the electric water heater. Gas heater is working. Switch on wall is on and lights up but water is not hot.

Check for a small fuse on you water heaters circuit board. Mine is a 2amp. See if it is ok and replace if necessary.

If you saying your water heater is giving hot water on electric, but not while using propane, you water heater circuit board is likely the culprit. Those Chinese made circuit boards are garbage like most Chinese products. Replace it with an American made Dinosaur circuit board rather than another piece of Chinese made garbage. Your problem will be fixed as long as you own the trailer. ''Here's the link'' https://www.dinosaurelectronics.com/

Suburban or Dometic water heater. That information will help with diagnostics.

For me, I need more info in order to help. What is model and brand. Did the electric side EVER work? You say it is brand new. I wonder if someone else turned it on while at the dealership without water in the tank and burned up the element. If you have a clamp type multi-meter (to measure amps) it is an easy test to verify the element.

You might also want to check to see if the water heater is grounded...Will not work if not grounded...

We'll got it figured out, there was a reset button hidden under a piece of tape. Got it going thank you for your suggestions.
