I wish I was in Salmon, ID. Make sure you head up the road to Stanley, great view of the Sawtooths from there.

Rock-

Went through Stanley yesterday. You're right, great views and pics of the Sawtooth's. I'm very fortunate to be on a solo road trip in my Porsche with the top down. Taking the roads less travelled in Wyoming and Idaho. Really do miss my Sunset Trail as every night is a different bed. Not sleeping nearly as well as when trailering. One huge advantage to the RV lifestyle. Stopping in Sun Valley for a couple days then heading back home to CO.

I watched RV's pull off sites and within 15 minutes there was another on site. If you plan on staying there, I recommend making reservations atleast 6-8 months in advance.

DanFont, welcome to the forum!!

Over the past week from 7-29-09 through 8-3-09, I saw more Crossroads units on the road and in the CG than I have any where.
