Tom, I sure hope we are. Nice place, nice food, good company...what's better than that. BTW my unit is buried in snow right now too. Hope to get it out by April...Larry and Karen talked about getting together @ Paul Wolff Campground near Elgin.

Hope winter hasn't gotten you down as much as it has me. Finally walking and this week I find out if I can drive again...after 4 months LOL.

Be well,
Jim

By the sound of the proceeding paragraph, I take it you have a problem with a bad wheel, or something to that affect. It's been four days since your post I hope things are getting better for you. That's all I had to say Just wishing you well.

Bad wheel

Tommy,
I had a torn Achilles tendon, now repaired and I was able to drive most of the way to NY and back. The 2nd day of our trip out of Conneaut, OH we hit a blizzard all the way to Schenectady, NY, made for a hellish drive. Spent two weeks there and in MI visiting our son and friends. Finally home and I'm now making reservations for our travels starting in June. Have to coordinate everything so we end up in Shipshewana the week of the rally. So far it's going well.

Looking forward to getting the RV out of storage and all checked out. SIL just called me and told me my truck has a broken brake line. I've stored it in his driveway because I couldn't drive. So, something else to do before I can go anywhere. Life's a dream

Jim

Glad to hear that you are getting better. A lot of us are in the same boat when it comes to the weather, although I must say I hope I never have a trip like you had. My wife and I are planning to get into the camper this weekend, for cleaning and stocking. I think I am in site 73 at Shipshewana. I'm sure we will see you there. Until then take care.

We are in sites 68 and 69. Looking forward to meeting everyone face to face.
Based on what I have seen on the forum...I have decided to run for the lucrative position of "Smallest RV" @ the rally. So vote for us

ZT211RD, there are all sizes and models of CR there; some no longer made. It is a nice variety but the people in them are the best. We met so many great people there last year that we are going back. And meeting even more newbies will be an added benefit. There are some that are returning who no longer own a CR (hence that SomeOtherBrand group) but come back for the comradery they found at previous rallies. See you there.

Thanks

Tommy and Aileen,
Thanks for the well wishes. Went down today to look at the truck...being stored in below zero weather and only started once in a while probably caused the problem. My SIL has a mechanic friend who is going to look at it tomorrow. The leak is in the middle of the truck between front and back so he thinks it's an easy fix. I can only hope. Heading down next weekend to discuss the annual inspection and wheel repack and inspection with my dealer. Hoping to get out as soon as weather allows up here, which may be April BTW Tommy we're in site 91, see you there

Travel well,
Jim

Tommy,
I'll be heading your way before the rally. From Cuyahoga I'm heading to Gettysburg for 10 days...then on to upstate NY. From there we head back to PA Dutch Country for 10 days, then on to Altoona for 4 days...then to Ohio for 10 days then on to the rally. We arrive the Monday of the rally and stay until the following Monday. We like to be able to spend time checking out the area...even though we've been to the rally the last 2 years See you at the rally unless we see you somewhere before that.

Travel well,
Jim

So, I'm stirring the pot.

Yes, it's you. I thought you were the only one on here, we'll have to make you #1Lloyd.

OK good start. Only 11656 more posts and we'll catch the other group.

Hi Rick,

I know we're late to the table here, so can you PM me the list of remaining sites to pick from.

Thanks.
