Thumbs up

Stan, finally got booked also. Site E-7. We will arrive Thursday, October 6th and depart Monday, October 10th. This will be a good way to end our camping season on a high note.

Still working our plans out. I've been busy planning a large FR rally for memorial day weekend, a trip home to NJ for a wedding, our 10th Anniversary, etc etc

No it was "not", because I misspelled "note".

Newbie RVer story…

I am working at a campground on weekends. I got a call that a family at a site needed help. When I got there they told me that their toilet was clogged and could they please borrow a snake to clear it. I informed them that they could not use a snake to clear an RV toilet because of the holding tank. They were trying to dump the black tank and nothing was coming out. I looked at the valves and both grey and black were open. I asked them if they had the valves open all weekend to which the said yes. I told them they should not leave the black valve open all the time and should dump the tank when it is full. They asked why their dealer did not tell them that. I said I had no idea but that’s why they should call me. The family was a man, wife and daughter. I told them that with two females in the camper they should always flush twice to add more water. They were baffled as to how to unclog the tank. I asked them if they had a long hot dog fork, which they did. I suggested putting the fork down thru the toilet and stirring the contents of the tank. Voila – the tank drained. Some of our campers are dumber than rocks. I hope they wash the fork before they use it again!

Rick
Can't speak for any one else, but as for me I am running behind this year because of the rainy weather...Saw on the news that in the month of May, in my area, only nine days were non rain days...Just getting the pool opened up today...In the past it would have been open this past weekend...The grand kids are not happy about the late opening...Also just got back from a trip to the Hudson Valley in New York...Love that area of NY, lots to see and do...As for not being on the forum, while I had the time during the trip, the campground's WIFI was terrible and I did not get connected once...

So that is what Rosie and I have been doing, and that's all from me for now...Hope everyone is enjoying the camping season, stay safe and enjoy...

Finally getting caught up on stuff around the house...Three separate plumbing problems fixed, pool opened, getting 5er ready for a trip to Twin Grove on Monday...Taking the four year old grand daughter for her first camping trip...Looks as though we may have a good week weather wise...

You were hitting Cherokee as Joe & Joan and Anthony and I were leaving my FROG Rally at Mayberry Campground in Mt Airy. They had a bluegrass festival getting ready to start at veteran's park in Mt Airy.
