The DW & I have been to Williamsburg and enjoyed it very much, and at some point will visit there again...Gettysburg in Pa. offers a similar tour of the battlefield there with several other options, one of them being a horse back tour...We didn't do much camping because we don't just sit in the campground we camp so we can tour new places in our country...Because of Covid we didn't think many places would be open...

Shenandoah Caverns are practically within walking distance. There are a couple of museums at the caverns also, one that is loaded with parade floats. The only covered bridge in Virginia that is open to vehicle traffic is about a mile from the campground. There are at least 3 distilleries close by. I think some wineries and orchards are near too. Cooter's (Dukes of Hazzard) is close. Luray Caverns are nearby. New Market Battlefield is at the next exit south of the campground on I-81. There is an entrance to Shenandoah National Park and the Skyline Drive in Luray. Those are just a few things that come to mind.

My son just called. He said they arrived about 45 minutes ago. He said he just finished setting up and was going to introduce himself to everyone there. Sorry I couldn't make it. It looks like the weather will be really good.

Another great rally in the books...Rosie and I had a great time and enjoyed seeing everyone as always...We wish all our rally friends new and old good health during these troubled times and that Walt will continue healing in the coming months and Lindy and he will be in our prayers...

Thanks again Stan another great job...See everyone in the spring...
