I hope to be able to go, but I also hope I cannot attend. If I cannot it is because I will be going to Miami for the Formula 1 Grand Prix on May 6 - 8. My son is headed to Miami later this month to attend some informational meetings and check on nearby campgrounds.

Spring Rally Posting

Thanks, Mark for posting the rally information.

My Mark and I will be heading over to Lancaster next week to explore and make some notes for a handout for everyone again next year.

We hope everyone is enjoying this extended nice weather, and we look forward to seeing you in Virginia in a few weeks!

My son called today and told me to find a campground near the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. I have tickets to the Miami Formula 1 race, so I won't be able to attend the spring rally. I have been watching F1 races for as long as I can remember and have always dreamed of going to one. I finally get to go in 2022.

Can't resist temporarily hijacking this thread and responding...I'll see if I can come back and delete this post after a few days.

DavisK - am super excited for you!

If the rumors are true, you might even be able to cheer on Colton Herta in an Andretti Alfa Romeo!!

Was blessed to attend the inaugural Phoenix race and see Alesi in a Tyrrell pass Senna right in front of me and was hooked!

Also saw Senna's last win in Adelaide and the first couple Indy races.

Fell away a bit after Montoya left, but have been getting back in to it, this year particularly.

My hopes are to camp on site at an Indycar race in the next year or two - maybe Road America or Mid-Ohio. Think that would be a blast, too

Regardless, am sure you will make many great memories.

And now, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

The campground is now closed for the season and will re-open on April 1. The remaining two sites will remain available for our rally until April 15 when they will be released to the general public.

Best wishes for a safe and healthy winter for you and yours!

Hi All, we will call the campground again on 4/1/2022 about changing our site. The only issue is that we are coming in on Saturday, 4/30 and both sites X6 and X7 are reserved until Sunday, 5/1. If anyone that is coming in on Sunday, 5/1 is willing to switch to site X7 so we can be with the group, it would be greatly appreciated. Don't really want to setup and breakdown to move on Sunday. Thanks, John
