hey hunter, we went to the rv show here in dallas and met a factory rep from the southwest area. i apologize for not remembering his name, but i informed him of the rally next year and he said to give the factory a call and he would ensure someone would be there.... thats if we want a rep there. just a thought...

he also said crossroads has been kicking around the idea of sponsoring a factory rally in the south, i thought that was cool.

George Ball has been working on getting someone from the factory at the rally. It would be nice if we had a name since it may be the same guy at Crossroads he has been talking to. Looks like we have a pretty good turnout so far so they might want to look at sponsoring ours. My email is listed if they want to contact me.

Okay folks, I just got off the phone with Berry Springs RV Park and they will let me have up to 20 spots for the rally. As of today I have 15 with reservations already made. Since they are a fairly small park they want to keep enough sites for other customers and they have some snowbirds that will be there until April and May. I know some of you are trying to figure out schedules and vacation time but the last 5 spots will be first come first serve. And as with everyone else if you do make a reservation please send me an email so I can get some information from you and add you to the list of attendees.

Can anyone tell us how many attended this year's factory rally in Indiana? Maybe we can beat that here in TX?

Okay folks, I got a call from the owner of Berry Springs and he would like to keep the rally attendees to the 16 we have signed up now. He is concerned they may not have enough spots for the monthly people they get coming down from the North. At this point I do not want to try and move this to another park in the area so I pretty much have to accomodate his request. He did tell me that if others wanted to attend they could call the park after 1/1/2011 and they could probablyget themin sites at the time of the rally. I apologize to anyone that has been waiting to see how their schedules wouldwork outbefore making reservations.

I do think those of you that want to attend but need to wait a while longer beforemaking reservations would still be able to join us but you would need to wait until after the first of the year and call the park.

I would suggest that if anyone has a schedule change and can't make the rally after all, they coordinate with Keith before simply canceling their reservation. That way, as one family cancels, another can take their place. Simply a suggestion.

Well folks, looks like the rally is going to be cancelled. I just got a call from the park owner telling me he has decided they just can't accomodate us. Needless to say I am pretty pissed at this point and told him he will probably regret this decision as he is going to get some bad publicity from this. At this point I don't have the time to try and find a new park to hold it at as we are leaving on a one month trip in about 2 weeks. Sorry for the quick post but I have to run for a meeting I just wanted to get this out here in case any of you got calls from the park they were cancelling your reservations.

I called to make reservations this morning, and was told they would have to call me back this afternoon. I just got a call back saying the rally will not be held at there location. She said to contact the rally group leader for details. I see you have already posted the reason. We will have to try again later. Thanks Hunter11,for all of the effortand hard work that you have put into this. We will just have to make it happen at a later date. Enjoy your trip.

Okay, I have had time to calm down and regroup. I have to much time invested in this rally to just give up on it so I have been looking at an alternative site of theKerrville/Fredericksburg area. So my question is if I can move it to this area how many people that were signed up to attend at the old park would come to this area for the rally? If you are coming from the North or East it would mean about 70 to 90 miles farther drive West. I do have a nice park outside Fredericksburg that will allow us to have the rally with them and I am waiting for a call back from the one outside Kerrville on having it with them. I have about two weeks before a month long hunting tripI have planned to get this worked out so please let me know your feelings on this ASAP.

Again I want to apologize for the cancellation by Berry Springs and any problems this might have caused anyone. I was lead to believe all along they were very glad to have us there as a group and then all of a sudden I get a call from the owner this morning telling me they could notaccomodate our group.
