Just wanted to share our simply breathtaking trip up the coast of Maine, then into the center of the state to look for Moose at the Moosehead Lake area.

nice post. Spent some time in Maine 4 years ago.
think about visiting for a weekend in Gettysburg next spring.
Look for the "2012 Northeast Crossroads rally" post October.

Thanks for the photos, as we have not been to the NE area yet. Have cover most states west of the Miss. river but now plan on seeing the east. Have Daug. in Pit. and plan on gong to DC this fall.

If you have the time while in DC check out Williamsburg....it's gorgeous in autumn.
