beach camping in No. Cal

Hi all, we live in the central valley of California, Near Modesto, and its been in the 100's for weeks, we are looking to do some beach camping , and some much cooler weather. looking for suggestions. due to unseen circumstances, have not been able to get out much, but we really now hope to change that. must be dog friendly, 2 Chihuahuas and a 160 # Great Dane. thanks

In-laws lived in Salida for a long while so know the area. Anywhere south of Santa Cruz would be a easy trip and nice. A longer trip would be up North to Eureka and the Redwoods.

I'm from Florida. This summer we stayed in Pillar Point RV park. Just south of San Francisco. It's a parking lot with full hook ups. But we enjoyed it. Very pet friendly. While we were there a family who shows Great Danes were there with some gorgeous pups.
