I want to run a 50 amp service, water line, and T.V. cablefrom the house to my driveway so we can camp at home on the weekends that we can't go camping.

I already have a nice 160 s.f. deck right next to the driveway, and have saved the money to add the above. I'm capable ofdoing the job myself, but I can't find a service box like the campgrounds use with a space for a 50 amp plug, breakers and cutouts for 20 amp plugs.

Anyone know where to find something like that? I've tried Home Depot and several electrical suppliers in my area with noluck.

Thanks,

Louie

There are many manufactures. They are called "power pedestals". Here's a link:Click Here

I have a 50 amp plug mounted to the side of the house and water and sewer just to the side of that. When we park the trailer on the slab for it the connections are within 5' of it. I would think a power pedestal like a park would have might be a little expensive but if you plan on using it all the time just search the net for them. Here is one place I found before I did my install.

Check a company named "Eaton Coorporation". They have boxes for marine terminals and used in campgrounds. Good luck on the driveway camping.

Yep...camp driveway can be great if you just can't get away. Like others, I have a dedicated 30-amp circuit from the garage and mounted a rv service box on a 4x4 post with cable ran as well. Fill up with a little water, light the outdoor fireplace, grill some burgers...well you get the idea. I still haven't figured out why people sometimes look at you strange when you mention camp driveway!
