As stated in another post, we're heading down to Fayetteville, N.C. pretty quick. Could anyone from the general area giveus an idea about the weather this time of year. I know that nothing is sure in the weather world but...

Thanks,

Louie

Louie:
Its snowing here in Greensboro, NC (again). Sorry, I thought I would let you know. I am so over the snow. I've lived here 5 years and this is the first winter we've had any snow that stayed on the ground. Its hard to get excited about camping with all the snow.

Now the good news is that the later part of the week is supposed to be sunny with normal temps so hopefully all the snow will melt soon.

Thanks, all. Setting at Fayetteville, KOA, now. High this afternoon was around68 degrees and sunny. Haven't seen that since last September (October?); absolutely loving that! Tomorrow's supposed to be low 70's - can't wait!!

Leaving Fayetteville this morning, heading for Williamsburg. Weather was very nice;specially for us Northerners; a little rain but not enough to bother us. Heading for Williamsburg later this morning, then back to the "snow belt."

As usual, Williamsburg was great, and the weather was spectactular!!

The Campground, Williamsburg KOA; Colonial, was so-so. Sites were far from level, sewage was was only two or three feet down the pipe, (you could actually see it, and emptying the tanks produced "foam" which rose OUT of the pipe), and the sites weren't very clean.

Well, it is early in the season, and they did just open...maybe things will improve as the season progresses.
