We went to the grand opening of camping worldin Garner NCtonight. Marcus Lemonis (CEO camping world) was there. He gave away tons of free stuff and awesome deals on trailers/motor homes. Every couple married over 50 yrs got $200 shopping spree (of woman's choice), he gave someone a shopping cart and 15 min for the wife to go load it with anything she could put in it. It came out w/ a new dometic toilet, a patio rug and a bunch of other stuff in it. He asked people what they were shopping for and literally gave them something they were shopping for (ie TV, recliners for inside the rig etc). Marcus even gave a $500 gas card to someone. He gave someone a used pop-up in their $5000 budget for $1000, someone else a new bullet for $20000. We walked out with a recliner camping chair and a pillow pet for my DD for free and a $100 gift card that we used towards the purchase of an electric tongue jack. There is another grand opening in Fayetteville NC tomorrow. Lots more giveaways there. He stood around for a long time afterwards talking to people. I chatted with him for a few minutes, he is really a nice guy. If you ever get the chance to go to a camping world grand opening go. Everyone in attendance got something, whether it was as simple as a $20 discount or something big. He didn't just give to one or two people, I think at least a hundred people got big gifts. He drew names for over a half hour and personally decided what you got after talking to you.

I have seen many of his replies to people and he does seem sincere and honest. And if you come across as that and live up to it and by that premise...people will do business with you. I have bought certain specific items from CW and the people there have always been friendly. I hope they can keep him if they are doing this well.

I had a problem with a Camping World in Myrtle Beach, and he personally called and talked to DW and myself. Didn't, at the time, know just who he was. Good stuff.
