According to Indian astrologers numbers are not only part of Horoscopes India for our day to day numeric relations, they also affect our names. A persons name is the code that encrypts his or her essential character. If you change your name, this will result in a change of the vibrations and energies that surround you. As this is the case, such a decision should not be taken lightly.

If you do decide to take the plunge, however, the best advice is to choose a name that feels right to you intuitively, and then calculate the numerological meaning of this name to make sure that it has the qualities that you seek. Finally, be sure that you wish to discard the vibrations given off by your old name number – and that you can live up to those given off by the new one.

Many well known personalities have changed their names at some point in their lives, or have adopted nicknames that reflect their famous personae.

If you crave luxury and the high life, try changing your full name to alter the vibration surrounding you that relate to your job. These new vibrations can set the scene for a more fulfilling and successful career.

I was going to change my Indian name to "Runs with Beers", but could not get DW to agree.
