With the change in upper management at CrossroadsRV, it appears that the 12-Point Promise has been removed from the current website: http://www.crossroadsrv.com/

I found an old link that has the 12-Point Promise as part of the warranty in the "about" tab.
http://forums.crossroadsrv.com/about/warranty.asp

Anyone have any thoughts about and/or insight into this change. Fortunately, we bought a 2013 that had the 2 year warranty. So far, we have been covered for the issues that have come up.

Someone typed it so it must be true. Oh crap I guess that means there really is ocean front property in Arizona.

There are a lot of changes going on within Crossroads and Redwood right now. Ever since Don and Tom made changes to the Crossroads web site it has not been much. Very hard to find information and most of the good stuff they took out. They really made a mess of Crossroads from what I have been told. We will have to see what plays out now after another management change.

To be honest their "12 Point Promise" wasn't worth the time it took Tom to dream it up.

Totally agree with you, Hunter11. I recall the days of requisite hyperbole for report writing just to fill up the pages. Seems that a lot of that was going on at CrossroadsRV. And it was pretty obvious at the rally when management was asked about this forum without any moderators and all they could do was a two step shuffle.

Something happened to their warranty support also. I believe for the good. I got good results calling warranty two weeks ago. They called me back within a few hours and said the replacement parts will be shipped out the next day. They even upgraded the radio to a AWM 965. Yesterday at the dealer they found a issue with the rear cap. They got immediate approval for repair and I only spent 1 day at the dealer. Great for me, since the dealer is 1.5 hrs away (although no so bad a trip.)
I hope this is a sign of things to come and that so many CR owners will get their warranty work done without hassle.

I thought the 2 yr warranty went out in 2012. My 2013 has only a 1 yr?

it depends on when the unit was built. Anything built sept 1, 2012 or newer has a 1 yr warranty. Anything with a build date prior to Sept 1, 2012 has a 2 yr limited warranty. Many 2013 trailers were built before that date as the next model year usually debuts sometime the spring before. ie 2013 models pearled on the market for sale spring 2012.

Is there a way to tell the build date from the VIN?

The build date of your trailer is on the same sticker as your VIN. It should be typed out right there in the same place.
