Well the largest dealership near me just closed http://sandhillsrv.com Unfortunately it is the dealer I bought mine from and have had great service from them.

Now I just pray that I don't need any service done because the next crossraods dealer is 80 miles away.

We lost a smaller RV dealer last fall (bankruptcy). We've lost 4 car dealers in the area. So far the local RV dealers are hanging on. Have to hope for a good Spring and early Summer for them, otherwise we're likely to see more die.

I have not heard of any dealers going under in the Cincinnati area.In fact last month I was getting propane at the rv dealer nearest my house and he had 3 units being picked up that morning. I also found out they are now carrying Sunset Trail. I am hoping they start carrying Cruisers too!

Best Buy was trying to give Tom Raper a run for their money I think but they ( Best Buy ) went under. I think they put a lot of money into their buildings trying to be fancy.

Best Buy RV went under sometime at the end of 08 or begining of this year (from what I was told). They had bought an empty bus factory iseveral yrs back n Richmond, IN not far from the original Tom Raper. We had gone over there to look at Cruisers (first time we had been in one). They where just getting settled in the place. It was enormous! They really had not done anything to it other than put campers in it. I think it was a case of biting off more than they could chew. We have a Tom Raper here in Fairfield. I keep waiting for it to close up. I go in every once in a while for "supplies" and there never seems to be many folks in there. There prices are also high if you ask me. They do have a good number of luxury rvs (bus)in the front lot and they seem to turn them over but my guess is they shuttle them back and forth between here and Richmond. If they aren;t "rotating stock" then they are selling a ton of big dollar buses! Which I doubt.
