Glad I am not the only one with some of the double and triple checks before leaving. I did see a VERY nice motorhome driving east on I-90 this past sunday...tv antenna sticking way up...
I also make it a habit to do a walk around anytime we stop for fuel, food, etc. Found a nail in my tire on one of my checks after food and I probably picked it up doing the parking lot obstacle course trying to get to the place we wanted to eat at. So, after a quick tire change, a walmart tire center that did not repair rv tires, we were back on our way.

Go to your local army/navy surplus store and pick up one of those bright orange or red safety ribbons that say "Remove before Flight". They have a clip and mine hangs from my TV antenna handle. When the antenna is up it's moved to the hand grab beside the door. It hard to miss when you're locking the door. My new trailer doesn't have that problem, just my fix on the others I have had.

I put my truck keys on the handle that raises the Antenna when I get the keys off I lower the antenna
