Do you think this will get me in trouble with the Dw? Today we were at Sam's Club and I saw these Anti-Fatigue mats. I was thinking of getting 2 of them and putting one in front of the kitchen sink and stove and another in front of the washer and dryer. The DW tells me how tiring the laundry is and I figure with these mats she could do more and not get tired. I also figured the same for the kitchen. Sounds like a good idea to me, what do you think?

As a man, to me it sounds like the perfect thing to buy your DW, but I suspect that the DW won't be as happy about it as you think she'll be. <- her <-You I think that I'd stick to flowers. Always works.

I was just thinking of her well being. I want her to be able to do more and not be exhausted. It would be showing her I love her.

If I made any type of comment about wanting to buy her an item or items to help her do more house work, I would have to make a trip to the ER and promptly have her tennis shoe removed from my butt, and that would only be for starters!

I know how you feel, george....anything to help her. That is why I taught mine how to start the lawn mower and snow blower.... and i keep them both fueled for her. she sure appreciated the snow blower....now she doesn't have th shovel the snow.

For some reason I bought a snow blower and she won't even touch it. DW will say that the walks need cleaned and I better get the snow blower out. Maybe some day with that. Something else to work on.

That's why she taught me how to cook, clean & do laundry!!! I really DO help my DW out in these departments (& don't mind helping). It goes faster & that way We can enjoy kicking back sooner with a toddy or two!!! or some other relaxing thing LIKE SHOPPING??? ).

I help out too, during the winter months, with things inside. During the Spring, Summer and FallI take care of everything outside and DW takes care of everything inside. Since the grill is outside, I do most of the cooking in the non snowing months. My outside has gotten easier since we got rid of our pool. And trust me, we get our relaxation and drinks in.

Know what you mean, Roger...my momma taught me all that stuff when I was a teenager.
So, my dowry was the experience to be a house husband, which I was for 5 years after I retired until Lindy retired.....and I still do most of the cooking.
