Flag

With the threat of possible terrorist activity in the US on the fourth of July let's all remember to display Old Glory!

Always, along with the Gadson.

Also ready for any threat that may present itself.

I fly the flag on a 20 foot pole at my house every day. Also no secret to those that know me that I'm a firm believer in the second amendment. Bad guys beware.

We fly the flag on our trailer. DH is afraid to mount the flag pole to our siding. I need to get a garden flag version of old glory and shine our little rock light on it. We do have our soldier thank you flag out.

I'm buying a new flag and pole today and planning on mounting it to the tongue jack. This will allow me to keep it properly lit at night. Anyone else mount one out front on the tongue?

You can make a simple flag stand from 1" PVC pipe ,tees and elbows. Be creative and make your own design. You can light it with a solar spot.
Just dry fit it no glue and it breaks down for compact storage.
Folks always ask where I got it when we are camping.

I have a "porch" flag for mine. It is mounted on the tongue jack. Can you post a pic of yours? I have seen those but have not quite figured it out.

RI is not ranch territory. Some wonderful farms, horse riding around small private stables. Our best attraction is some of the most beautiful beaches on the East Coast. South facing.
A true area of early history of our country. The burning of the British tax ship Gaspee off the coast of RI. Pawtuxet Village was the put out point for the Patriots who burned the . Ship The ship was lured aground by sailors of the earl revolution.
We claim to be the first blow for freedom for America.
Sorry to get wordy the 4th is approaching and I focus on what it means.
I said back at the ranch because I was born in 47 old expression in my family. Just meant the house.

Happy Fourth of July.
