Gander RV - Camping World?

Just came back from the St Louis area and noticed the camping world on I 70 at Columbia Mo has changed to Gander RV. A little Google search and it seems that they are opening or changing the name on 40 stores this year. This may be old news but 2 weeks ago it was still Camping world.

With Amazon and Walmart in the RV accessory and supplies business, I have no idea how Camping Worlds stores survive. The online website just went through a huge overhaul a few months back, however their pricing is still outrageous.

FWIW
We looked at a Sunset Trail locally back in 2013 at a CW. Absolutely miserable experience for us. Ended up buying from a small family dealership about 3 hours away.

Fast forward 3 years ...we had to be towed to to closest Crossroads dealership while traveling in NY. Yep, a CW.

They got us in right away and had to install a new axle. Got us on the road same day. Sounds like a great story of customer service

However


Noticed my tires were wearing unevenly just on the 400 miles back home

They installed the axle...UPSIDE DOWN. Ruined a new set of tires.


And yet they keep selling trailers and gobbling up dealerships
