Cool Garage Heater

Well I thought it was time to turn the heater on for the garage expecting day time highs of -4 on Tuesday.

Turned turned the heat on last night, went out to the garage this am. and found my cheap snow tires melted...

I just pick up my camper for the dealer and there was so much salt on the roads. All over the front of the camper, but with the temps here in VA in the single digits no time to wash her in the near future. I can't wait for spring!

It was 21 degrees this morning, but the garage heater works so well here that it was 70 degrees this afternoon. So, I had to open the garage door and let some of that warm air inside.

I've always wondered. Do you still drain the camper before you store it? I know you don't have to winterize, but you still must drain right?

If there is a chance of freezing I would. I drain mine anyway if it is going to sit and not be used for awhile.

precaution

I would recommend draining the water out of the lines. DO NOT FORGET TO DRAIN OUTSIDE SHOWER HOSE (if you have one). I typically drain my water lines and blow them out. I drain the water heater, then I put a little antifreeze in all sink and tub drains.
