Bruce, we stay at Anchors Aweigh RV park. It is on the far south side of Foley near Lamberts Cafe. Six miles north of the beach in Gulf Shores. On the north side of Foley is Johnies RV park, used to be Palm Lake RV, a nice park too, we used to stay there.

It's been a long time since an update but I'm holed up here in North Fort Myers FL until the end of Feb. (at least). I have some family in the area so that is nice.TX was OK, I really liked AZ but I've really come to like this area of FL.I heard a lot of bad things about FL and the locals I have run into have not given me any of any of the negative feedback. I have actually found that the deals businesses give for snowbirds is better then they give locals in the off season. I am considering moving to the area since I was laid off from my job shortly before I left for my annual winterpilgrimageto warmer weather.
If that happens I'll no longer have a need for my coach as I'll already be out of those MI winters. We'll see how this all pans out, I will hopefully post more often on what the rest of the winter season brings.
This will be my last update on my travel adventures. I am currently in the Fort Myers FL area. I like the area so much I bought a house and sold my coach this week. Will be moving from MI down to FL later this spring. Most of the accessories I have are sold, just need to sell the truck once I get back to FL.
Crossroads has been a great company to work with, great build quality and outstanding customer service. I'll miss RVing but am really exciting about my move. Good luck to all my fellow Crossroads owners, even though I no longer own one I'll still feel a kinship to you all.
