Wild winds wallop western Wisconsin

As stated in another thread, semi's that get tipped over from wind are usually empty. Which was the case here in this news story.
Even tho they might be empty, the tractor and trailer empty, weigh a heck of a lot more then most RV's. Granted, most semi trailers have a lot more surface then most RV's. I still wouldn't want to be caught in a 100 mph wind out on the road with my rig, and I wouldn't want to be in it parked in a campground either.

We experience a horrible wind and rain storm back in June 2016. Wouldn't have been so bad if the campground were not in the middle of a farm with absolutely no protection from the wind.
The storm blew through in the middle of the night and woke us up. We really didn't have much time to do anything. We just hunkered down and waited it out. Rocked and rolled the camper pretty good.

There are examples of what you are saying on YOU TUBE...Videos of tractor-trailers and RV's alike being blown over while driving on and open highway...Filmed by someone in another vehicle traveling on the same road...If that don't put a brick in your shorts nothing will...
