I haven't been on for awhile, so therefore I haven't heard much from you all. Just wondering how everyone's camping season is going so far this year. Ours has been pretty good we just got back from taking the kids to Santa Claus Indiana for 4 nights then the KOA in Granite City Mo. for 4 nights. We had a great time and the only problem we had was a bathroom vent fan stopped working, but other then that the Cruiser did great.

Hope you all are having a safe and fun summer.

It's been pretty good so far. The spring has been wet around here and we went through a spell for about a month where it rained every weekend. But, we have gotten in a few state park trips, a week in the Smokies, and a weekend in Nashville for the SEC basketball tournament back in March.

We were out two weeks ago to a conservation area on Lake Huron Ontario canada. The site we chose on the map was well treed which was not limbed high enough for the trailer ,just caught a small branch which did tear the roof on the corner about the size of an eraser on a pencil. All fixed now and everything else worked fine.We are off to Niagara Falls Canada side on Friday and will have three grandkids and family visiting saturday so should be interesting. Our previous trip was near Goderich Ontario where a tornado devestated the town two years ago and sure enough on the sunday night a park super came by to warn of us of a tornado watch, luckily it went south and petered out over Lake Erie.

I'm jealous. We are waiting for August to let loose for 4 weeks of camping and it seems like it will never get here. It is, however, giving me lots of time to modify and add on things to the trailer but that just makes it harder when you can't hook up and go yet.

So far I've added the following: bed mod, new taps - kitchen and bath, towel hooks, TP holder, JT strong arm stabilizers.
Still to add: hard wired surge suppressor and water filtration system (strange it doesn't have one - our Fleetwood Terry did).

I'm pretty sure we will be prepared once we leave!!

Since getting our new 220RB in January, we have spent 5 nights at a state park in Florida, a couple of nights each at state parks in Alabama and Georgia, and I spent 16 days in it at a music festival in Texas... plus stopping one night in Louisiana coming and going to Texas. May go weekend after next too. I think we have done well so far.

Leaving this Sunday for two weeks in Montana. Few days in Livingston, then a few in Gardiner to drive into Yellowstone from, then up to Glacier NP for a few more days. Hopefully won't be too hot. First big trip of the year.

the nights we have been out have been good. We made some friends at our membership CG early in the spring when they were our neighbors. We had tried to get together during our may outing to there but it didn't work out. On Father's Day weekend we were pulling in when we hear "hey Jersey" (their nickname for My jersey cliche of a DH). It turns out they were on the site next to us again. We didn't recognize the rig because they had traded their TT and TV for bigger and better things. Had a blast with them. Haven't been out since. We have a big disney trip planned in August so we are in savings mode until then.

It has been going well, really enjoying the new rig! Early spring camping when weather was not good we had up to 10 people in it enjoying the electric fireplace.
We have had some great camping weekends and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Heading to Niagra Falls in a couple weeks. There has been some minor issues but all is getting resolved, the awning is not attached at one end, oven will not light, easy fixes.

Things are going better now that we got the front cap fixed and seams to holding after a week long camping trip in southern Minnesota hitting five state parks and one in South Dakota. No problems at all to report. Going this weekend a state park Mn "Minneopa".

Much better than last year - bedroom slide problem fixed last year. Probably 3000 miles on the unit this year.

Myrtle Beach - April/May
NY State State park - Sampson
Lake George
Watkins Glen race track

Big trip out west in August. NY to Montana and back.

Good so far, 4 weekends in starting in April.
Leave for Factory rally on Monday for a week.
Then East coast of Canada in August for my retirement trip.
No worries about the trailer, just hope my China bombs survive. :-[
