That looks like a Sunset Trail right smack in the middle and another on the lower right. I saw on the news where several campgrounds were evacuated and closed.

I believe it must be the storage yard for the campground that is across the highway. Here is a screenshot from Google Earth. The truck is inside the red circle. The empty boat trailer is inside the blue circle. The red arrow points to the entrance of the North Beach Campground.

Camp hatteras in rodanthe posted on their webpage that they survived the storm with minimal damage, just waiting for the roads to the island to be reopened. They said their phone lines are still down.

While there certainly was hurricane damage, it wasn't as bad as the area was hit a couple years ago.
