Well said Dodge.........people need to realize how much work goes into putting food on our table. This was a great American commercial.

Chris,
X2 I already knew the Bud commercial with the colt was coming, and I had seen that 3 times already and had to wipe a tear away. But, my wife came from 3 generations of dairy farmers and every single thing in that commercial bought back those memories. The family farm is gone, lost to the inequities of our economy and what the American farmer must put up with...but hands down I agree with you...until the last frames I had no idea who was putting on that commercial...but when I saw it all I could say was "Bravo Dodge, wel done...well done indeed"

thanks,
Jim

Even harder being a farmer these days.
</span>
Paul Harvey railed against welfare cheats and defended the
death penalty. </span>He worried about the
national debt, big government, bureaucrats who lacked common sense, permissive
parents, leftist radicals and America succumbing to moral decay. He championed
rugged individualism, love of God and country, and the fundamental decency of
ordinary people.</span>
</span>
I do miss Paul's daily commentary.

I miss paul too. I worked at a radio station in Salt Lake City (KALL) where Paul would do his broadcasts when traveling so had the distinct pleasure of meeting him. What a guy!

Must admit I thought of Lloyd, aka Old Farmer when watching the commercial. Lloyd! Where are you?

Hey Russ.
I have been hanging out over on the thorforum.com
It's pretty quiet and peaceful over there, but I do sneak in here on occasion just to keep the pot stirred.
How you and Joyce doing?

Lloyd-
Both of us doing great. I'm here in Borrego Springs, CA playing golf in 81 degree weather and getting the SOB trailer broken in on its maiden voyage. Zero problems! Joyce is back home getting her new snowblower broken in and loving it. I'm out 'til late this month and then back home to plan the big spring trip starting in April with the ST.
