I was bored today so I decided to clean the 5ver

I was walking around the camper today looking over things and the white rubber seals around the slides were really dirty and was bothering me so I decided todo a little cleaning. I got one slide done only 2 more to go. Here are some before and after pics. Looks alot better now.

Looking good, a little elbow grease gets it done.

What cleaner did you use? I was actually thinking of replacing mine with black seals due to the fact that I haven't been able to get them looking as good as yours.

Thanks, Bruce

Use WD-40. It will clean them slicker then a whistle. Very little elbow grease either. Then wash and rinse them, let dry and apply a coat of silicone.

Chris
Looks great I could never figure out why they used white seals, because they are soo much harder to clean than the black.

Sorry for the delayed reply been camping since I posted and havent been on here. I used an all purpose cleaner from Adam's Polishes and ALOT of elbow grease. This stuff has a lot of good uses. I also used the wife's new tooth brush that she just got from the dentist, worked pretty good. Thanks for the WD-40 idea I will try that on my other 2 slides.
