Any updates on what this new management team will do at Crossroads. A show of faith would be to bring back the 2 + 5 warranty. This would go a long way to show the direction they intend to take the company.

A massive QA overhaul needs to be a high priority. We all want the old crossroads back, the one that cared about the customer more than the dollar. We know that won't happen but at least some show that they remember who pays their bills would be nice.Edited by: anaro

Could not agree more!! I suggest them meeting face to face with owners of various CR products and getting constructive feedback. Best way to develop product is listen and learn from those who are using the product.

I would not get your hopes up to high as for much changing anytime soon. And as far as the 2 + 5 warranty I think that is a thing of the past. I think they are going to have enough on their plate just trying to stop the bleeding then maybe they will make some positive changes.

Just had a serious trailer incident in the family. My dad just bought a new flagstaff (forest river) TT and out on a trip the entire "A"frame fell off the trailer frame while travelling at hwy speeds. Lucky they stopped in time before the trailer seperated on the hwy. After a welding shop had a look the A frame was never welded, only tack welded in 3 places!!

QC is also a thing of the past. Loose screws and bad trim is one thing, integrity of the trailer and tow system is a safety matter. btw my folks are exploring legal options. lucky noone was hurt or killed! Time for these manufactures to be held to a higher standard .

I am not one to promote bigger Government ( out of control already) but this industry needs some requlatory control. The junk all the masnufactures are producing is a definate threat to the consumer. Obiviously they are not going to do anything until the are motivated by more than profit.

Thankfully your folks are ok

Wow kagex glad they are ok. You might want to post that on forest river owners forums.

I deal with this corporate bull every day, there is always some idiot in upper managment with no business being in that psistion with their idiotic vision and they bury their mistakes into everone else. Its always about metrics. botoom line and how much money US consumers pay for these way verpriced tin cans.

I checked my tires on my TT and found them at 70 psi when the sticker says 50. why would the dealer have them that overfilled? to shake the trailer during travel so it loosens things up that need to be fixed?, wears the tres out faster? , just an oversight?

I wonder?

QA is never going to catch all the minor items no matter how hard they look. I think to make things better as far as quality is all manufacturers need to SLOW DOWN the production line. That way the worker can do their job properly. JMHO!!!!!

Instead of incentives for production, how about an incentive for getting it done right the first time??

The fault still lies with management!

In this case yes it did. Now the question is how much damage did the bunch that just got canned do. I have heard they did a lot so now can Crossroads recover from it.

I sure hope so. I like the product (when built right) and the price point. It's the little s&^% that's killing them. No attention to detail and then not taking care of it.

We still have the 2 + 5 year on ours, mine is getting the one year done now, The approved Berryland in Hammond, La. They do great work and Crossroads has approved them.

Comparing apples to oranges Buddy. My post was concerning Crossroads not Redwood.

Redwood - 2 + 5 warranty
Crossroads 1 year warranty
