Close to 6 inches of snow in my yard, couple layers of ice mixed in with it. My kids school called off last night. My call came as I was going to go out to scrape the ice off the truck at 6 this morning. At least it has stopped... Heard we may get more on Sunday.

Ruck/Tashana, hope things start improving your way. You definitely need a break.

And all of you with all that snow, let’s all hope it ends soon. BTW, isn't there a requirement to move South when the snow blower breaks down?!?

I know this is what all of you are hoping for.

Ice storm last Wednesday took our electric out about six AM. We just got our electric back yesterday about four PM. The county we live in got the worst of the storm. Trees down every where, and that is what takes the power out. We stayed with our oldest daughter for two nights and youngest daughter for one night. We are going to get a dusting of snow tonight. That doesn't bother me at all. I am worried about the ICE storm they are calling for on this Wednesday comming. Hopeing we don't lose our electric again.

We are sick of the cold, ice and snow here in Kansas. I can hardly wait until we retire next year and are able to escape.

We are SOOOO tired of this crazy winter weather. Here is our latest forecast due to Storm PAX. Southerners are having a hard time dealing with this mess.

Good luck down there. We are (sort of) used to it up here and equipped to deal with the snow and ice. I feel for you guys who don't see this on a regular basis!

Joyce had to hire 2 guys to shovel our roof off while I'm on my "winter break". I owe her big time when I get back for the shoveling she's had to deal with. She'll be back out camping in April. Hard to believe what's going on in your parts of the country. Guess I better not tell Joyce that I have a tee time at Rancho Mirage here in Palm Springs this morning.

We are enjoying a pleasant winter here in Florida in our trailer. We are enjoying it even more than usual this year as we hear about all the nasty weather up north! Retirement has its privileges!

Loneoak, we were hampered from going south this year but I am sure we will be there next year. We are so tired of snow, ice, etc. Spring needs to get here.

Glad you are enjoying your well deserved retirement fun.
