Need good suggestions!

Hi all,
I need some advice regarding purchasing safety boots online. Our office has organized a trekking trip for all the employees. And I don’t have trekking boots with me. One of my friends suggested me to buy them online. I have not bought anything from online before, and I’m also worried whether size would be correct or not. Need to know that whether buying from online is a good option? Or it is better to go and buy from shops? Need suggestions.

I buy a lot of stuff online. Maybe it's just me but shoes are one thing that I like to try on in the store.

I have purchased many pairs of shoes and boots online over the years. Most online e-tailers have great return policies if they don't fit. In some cases I will purchase two sizes at the same time knowing I'll return one of them. Most of the time, the shoes are not available locally or are priced WAY over what they cost online. Just my $.02!

Well Harley, the thread is Basecamp Lounge, for anything off topic. So it's perfectly fine to ask this question here in this thread.
